on my work

Art defines who we are and what we are capable of becoming. In, as Paul Klee termed, “andacht zum kleinen” (devotion to small things), one finds the largess of the universe.

Photography can channel a path to change in the world.

Work can be a bit like that chapter in the Bible: the ‘begats.’ My Huguenot Street work led to an assignment in NY House Magazine, which led to another and another…to discussion stages for a book about a well-known and beloved national landmark…planning a social service project of volunteerism that will change the lives of some children whose lives sorely need changing.
